River City Herbals Calendula Ointment was originally developed here in Winnipeg, Manitoba (which is sometimes called the River City) by an herbalist just to help soothe, moisturize, and counteract the itching on his own severely dry, chapped and cracked skin (to the point of bleeding) brought on by our extremely cold and dry winters.

This natural calendula ointment has since been found to really work for alleviating a whole host of other conditions, as well, including: bedsores, rashes, eczema, psoriasis, stretch marks, boils, burns and scalds (to lessen scarring), venous congestion, varicose veins, athlete's foot and other fungal or bacterial infections, finger nail fungus, radiation injury/burns, ringworm, rosacea, scabies, sunburns, and insect bites or stings.
